Trevor Wright ...

Trevor started his music career in the early 60's and played that decade with two of Christchurch's top bands, firstly the Detours, then the Vigilantes.  The Detours played at Surf City, the Laredo and the Mecca amongst other nightspots.  They were resident at the Christchurch Teenagers Club after Max Merritt left for Auckland.  Another highlight was opening for the Rolling Stones in 1964.  The Vigilantes also played regularly at the Laredo Lounge and the Pride of Place nightclub during the sixties reforming in 2006 for Rockonz.  Many bands followed throughout the 70's and 80's including Page One, a successful professional band that toured extensively in the 1970's.  Trevor joined "Remedy" in 1988 and began a new career in country rock.  Several trips to Australia followed and Remedy is still working today.  In 2005 Trevor was invited to join "About Time" and jumped at the opportunity to play with old friends and new - Rock On!
