| Frankie Stevens was born Francis Donald McKechnie Stevenson in Wellington, New Zealand. He commenced singing with the school band in Upper Hutt at the age of thirteen. is professional career began at age 16 in Sydney with a group known as "Peter Nelson and The Castaways". The group recorded several songs with Frankie, and he spent several years touring Australia and New Zealand. e began his solo career recording a number of successful songs, including "My Elusive Dreams" which became a major New Zealand hit. From that point there was no holding Frankie back, and he toured Britain, The Continent, Scandanavia and the USA appearing on shows with Olivia Newton John, Shirley Bassey, Milton Berle, and Sammy Davis Jnr. Frankie had his own show in awaii which ran for 5 years. In 1994 he took the role of the High Priest "Caiaphas" in Harry M. Miller's touring theatre production of "Jesus Christ Superstar" in both Australia and New Zealand. In reality, Frankie has had so many highs in his career, to understand his attainments is a mission!
