
Toni (Antoni) Williams
 | | Born in the Cook Islands, Toni came to New Zealand aged 11. His interest in the guitar and entertaining began while spending 13 months in hospital following a football injury. In 1956 he formed a skiffle group called The Housewarmers and in 1958 this changed to become Toni Williams & The Tremillo’s. Toni was the lead vocalist and played rhythm guitar. He secured residencies at Auckland Rock 'n’ Roll Dance venues and then under the management of Harry M Miller, toured New Zealand with local and overseas entertainers. |
Record releases under the La Gloria label included 22 singles, EP’s (extended play) & LP’s (Long Play) records.
